What is the ASCA?
The ASCA is at the forefront of rebolting efforts, having replaced over 6,000 old bolts across the country using mostly volunteer efforts. Planet Granite is committed to giving back to our climbing community and will match up to $10,000 of the funds raised at these events.

FREE BBQ & BEER! Lots of Prizes, Fun and Climbing! Join the ASCA and Planet Granite in two ASCA Climb-A-Thon fundraisers.
June 27th at Planet Granite San Francisco
July 18th at Planet Granite Sunnyvale
You can participate in one or both events. The minimum sponsorship is $50. From 1p-4p there will be free climbing for all participants, sponsor tables, snacks and fun. After the climbing there will be BBQ, beer, sodas, prizes, etc. for the participants. Enjoy cool music, prizes and booty from our sponsors!
You will need to register for a sponsor packet either online or visit the front desk of your local Planet Granite. Register now so that you can start fundraising. You can register as a team or individual. For more information about how the Climb-A-Thon will work, click here. The first event is in just a few weeks!
Our goal is to raise $10,000 between two events. Planet Granite will match up to $10,000 of the funds raised so we have the opportunity to raise at least $20,000. Funds raised will be used by the ASCA to purchase new hardware for bolts and anchors. Come for the fun, the community and a good cause.

First time to Planet Granite? Everyone needs to fill out a liability waiver and show a government issued ID. And start here!

Please be sure that all minors have a waiver fully completed and signed by their parents or legal guardian. If the parent or guardian will not be present, please bring a photocopy of their government issued photo identification (for signature verification). Please note: legal guardians must present proof of guardianship to sign a child's waiver.
